Missed Base with Scoring Runner

With two outs, there is a runner at third base (R3) and a runner at first base (R1). The batter singles to the outfield. R3 scores. R1 arrives safely at third base, but did not touch second base. The batter is safe at first base. When playing action stops, the defense properly appeals that R1 missed second base. The umpires agree and call R1 out for the third out of the inning.

Does R3's run count?

A run is not scored if a runner advances to home plate during action in which the third out is made on a valid defense appeal which results in a force out (NF 9-1-1d).

In the play below, the defense made a valid appeal for R1 missing second base and this resulted in a force out. Since the third out of the inning was a force out, any runs scored on the play do not count.
