Runner's Interference on Ground Ball?

With no outs and a runner on second base (R2), the batter (B1) hits a ground ball towards the shortstop. As R2 is running towards third base, he slows up then jumps over the ground ball in an obvious attempt to distract the shortstop from fielding the ground ball. The shortstop momentarily bobbles the ball, but recovers and throws over the first base to retire B1. R2 ends up safety at third base.
