Missing Bases on Single

With runners at second base (R2) and third base (R3) and 2 outs, the batter singles safely to the outfield. Both R3 and R2 score on the hit, but R2 (the trailing runner) did not touch third base on his way home.

After the play is over, the defense calls "time" and properly appeals R2's missed base, so R2 is out and the inning is over. Since the third out of the inning was recorded on this play, does R3's run count?

Bonus Question:
What if R2 had properly touched third base and home plate, but it was R3 (the lead runner) that failed to properly touch home plate? After the defense properly appeals R3 failure to touch home (for the third out of the inning), do any runs score on this play?

Call
If the base missed is properly appealed for the third out and that base was the first base to which the runner was forced to advance, no runs would score (NF 8-2-6k).

If a baserunning infraction is properly appealed and results in the third out of the inning, runs scored by the following runners do not count. (NF 8-2-6k).

In the first situation below, R2's appeal was the third out of the inning. Since R2 was not forced to advance to third base, this is a timing play. At the time of the proper appeal, R3 had scored, so R3's run counts.

In the second situation below, since R3 was properly appealed for the third out of the inning, any runners scoring after R3 do not count.
