Two Runners on the Same Base

With no outs and runners on third base (R3) and second base (R2), the batter hits a grounder to the shortstop. The shortstop throws home in order to attempt to retire R3 at home. R3 gets in a rundown, while R2 advances to third base and is now standing on third base.

R3 slides safety back into third base. The defense tags R3 while R3 is on the third base bag and then the defense tags R2 while R2 is on the third base bag. Who is out and who is safe? Does the answer depend on what order the runners were tagged?

Bonus question: Do the answers to the two questions above change if this play had started with the bases loaded?

Call
When there are two runners on the same base at the same time and both are tagged, the runner who was forced to advance (but did not advance) is out (NF 8-2-8a).

In the situation below, neither R2 nor R3 were forced to advance, so R3 is protected while touching third base, while R2 is not. When both R3 and R2 are tagged, R2 is out. It does not matter the order of the tags.

For the bonus question, since the bases were loaded and the batter grounded to the shortstop, both R3 and R2 were forced to advance. R2 is protected while on third base, but R3 is not so he is out. It does not matter the order of the tags.
