Illegal Uniform: Non-Standard Colors

1. The pitcher and his teammates are wearing red vests-type jerseys, and have white under-shirts that extend down to just above the elbow. The coach of the offense reminds the umpires that there cannot be that amount of white fabric on the pitcher's throwing arm and insists that it be corrected. The coach of the defense disagrees. How do the umpires address this fashion issue?

2. What if all members of the other team (including the pitcher) are wearing lime-green compression sleeves on both forearms? Must the pitcher remove the compression sleeve from his pitching arm?

Call
A shirt worn underneath a vest is considered a uniform top. If that shirt is white or gray, the sleeves on the pitcher must not extend below the elbow. Other color sleeves (including compression sleeves) can be worn by the pitcher, as long as the umpire feels that they are not distracting to the batter.

In both situations below, the pitcher's uniform is legal.
