Batter Interference on Steal?

No outs, a 1-1 count on the right handed batter (B1), and a runner (R2) at 2nd base. On the pitch, R2 attempts a steal of 3rd base. B1 does not move within the batter's box, but the catcher's throw toward 3rd base hits B1's bat, rolls away, and R2 ends up scoring. Of course, the defensive team wants an out (or maybe two) for interference while the offensive team wants the play to stand. What is the call?

A. R2 is called out for B1's interference. B1 remains at the plate
B. B1 is called out for his interference, and R2 is returned to 2nd base.
C. Both B1 and R2 are called out for the interference.
D. There is no interference on this play, so play on -- R2 scores and B1 stays at the plate
E. There is no interference, but the ball is immediately dead -- so R2 returns to 2nd base and B1 stays at the plate

Call
Several respondents had B1 and/or R2 out for B1's failure to move out of the way so that the catcher can make a play on R2. This would be correct if R2 was attempting to score at home plate. However, as long as B1 does not change positions so as to interfere with the catcher, he need not vacate. The answer is "D", play on!
