Pitched Ball Out of Play on Ball Four

A runner (R2) is on 2nd base and the batter has a 3-0 count. The next pitch is wild and bounces into the dugout and out of play as the batter begins his walk to first base. The umpires award R2 third base (a pitch from the rubber that goes out of play is a one base award to the runners). However, the offensive coach wants the batter to be awarded one base after the batter completes the base-on-ball award (so the batter ends up at 2nd base).

One umpire thinks this award sounds reasonable and the umpire other does not. Where do the runners end up on this play?

While the coach's request may sound reasonable (after the base-on-balls award, I want the batter to get the award for a ball thrown out of play), that is not the rule. A pitched ball that is thrown out of play from the rubber on ball-four is a one base award (see rule 8-2 and the base running table on page 49 of the NF rule book).
