Pitcher Returning in Same Inning?

1. During the 2nd inning, the starting pitcher is struggling, so the defensive coach visits the mound and moves the pitcher to right field and brings in a new pitcher to replace the struggling starting pitcher. The new pitcher will bat in the right fielder's position in the batting order. Is this legal?

2. Later in the same inning, the relief pitcher is doing even worse than the starting pitcher. The coach would like to give the starting pitcher another chance to pitch by moving him from right field to the mound and moving the relief pitcher to right field. Is this legal?

The first situation below is a normal and legal substitution. The pitcher was moved to another defensive position, but stayed in the same position in the batting order. A new pitcher entered the game and took the place of his teammate's position in the batting order. In NFHS, a player can be removed as the pitcher and return to pitch once an inning. Situation #2 below is legal (NF 3-1-2).
