Pitched Ball Gets Stuck in Backstop

No outs, a runner on third base (R3), and a runner on first base (R1). R1 is stealing second base on the first pitch to the batter (B1). The pitcher is throwing hard, but the first pitch to B1 bounces in front of home plate, past the catcher, hits the backstop, and sticks in the chain-link backstop (about 5 feet off the ground). The catcher hustles back to the fence and takes the ball out of the fence. R1 has easily stolen 2nd base and R3 did not attempt to steal home, so the catcher throws the ball back to his pitcher. Any other umpire action needed on this one?

Call
As soon as the umpire sees that the pitch is lodged in the fence, the ball is immediately dead. When a pitch goes out of play or becomes lodged, one base is awarded to the runners -- so R3 scores and R1 is awarded 2nd base.
