Missed Bases II

Zach reports that this actually happened in a game this week:

Two outs, bases loaded. The batter hits a line drive to the gap in left center field and ends up safely at 3rd with a bases clearing triple. However, the runner who started on 3rd base missed home, and the runner who started on 1st missed 3rd base. No appeals were made.

A. How many runs score?

Call

Three runs score. If there are no defensive appeals, then all runs score.

What if the defense only saw the runner who started on third miss home and they properly appealed the miss of home for the third out of the inning?

B. How many runs score?

Call
No runs score. 8-2-6k: With 2 outs, if the base missed was the first to which the batter or runner was force to advance, then no runs score.

What if the defense only saw the runner who started on first miss third and they properly appealed the miss of third for the third out of the inning?

C. How many runs score?

Call
Two runs score. The runner that started at third scores and the runner that started at second score and the runner that started at first and missed third is the last out of the inning.

What if there was only one out and the defense sees BOTH the miss of home and the miss of third?

D. They appeal the miss of third (for the second out) and THEN the miss of home (for the third out). How many runs score?

Call
No runs score, see 8-2-6k explanation for question "A" above.

E.
They appeal the miss of home (for the second out) and THEN the miss of third (for the third out). How many runs score?

Call
One run scores. The runner that started at second scored before the appeal of the last out of the inning at third base.
