Quick Double Play: Who is Out?

With one out and a runner (R1) on 1st base, the batter (B1) hits a line drive to the 2nd baseman. R1 see that it will likely be caught, so he turns and returns to 1st base. The 2nd baseman unintentionally drops the line-drive, but he immediately picks the ball up, and throws a little wide of 1st base. The 1st baseman catches the throw off the base. R1 is standing back on 1st base and B1 is only about half-way down the baseline from home.

The field umpire has 3 seconds to make these calls:

1. The 1st baseman tags 1st base with his foot and then tags R1 with his glove (glove containing the ball)?

Call
1. B1 out but R1 safe: When the 1st baseman tags 1st base, B1 is out. R1 is now no longer forced to leave 1st base, so as long as he stays on the bag, he is safe.

2. The 1st baseman tags R1 with his glove and then tags 1st base with his foot?

Call
2. Double play, B1 and R1 out: R1 is forced to leave 1st, so when he is tagged (on or off 1st base) he is out. When 1st base is then tagged, B1 is out.

Bonus:  What does the umpire do if he judges that the 2nd baseman intentionally dropped the line-drive?
Double Bonus: Does the call change if there are two outs on the intentionally dropped line-drive?

Call
Bonus: On an intentionally dropped fair ball by an infielder, with less than two outs, and at least 1st base occupied -- the ball is immediately dead, B1 is out, and all runners return to their base at the time of the pitch.

Double Bonus:  The intentionally dropped ball penalties are not enforced with 2 outs --so after the drop, play on!
