Runner's Lane

Bases loaded and one out. The batter hits a grounder to the first baseman, who fields the ball and throws home. The throw hits the batter-runner while he is clearly well outside the runner's lane with both feet in fair territory. The ball rolls into foul territory and all runners are safe. What is the call?

Call
The runner's lane applies only when the defense is making a throw to first base in an attempt to retire the batter-runner. In this case, the throw was an attempt to retire the runner at the plate. Unless the batter-runner intentionally interfered with the throw home, play continues and, in this case, all runners are safe.
